1. Primary regulator use only
The Husher system is intended for installation on a primary regulator only.
Do not install the system on:

• alternate air sources (“octopus”),
• emergency backup regulators,
• or unsupported regulator configurations.

Backup regulators should remain in their original OEM configuration to preserve maximum simplicity and immediate accessibility during emergency situations.

2. Carefully inspect all regulator components during installation
Some compatible regulators require temporary removal and reinstallation of the original exhaust deflector during installation.
During this process:

• Work in a clean and calm environment
• Carefully inspect the umbrella valve and surrounding sealing surfaces
• Ensure all OEM components are correctly repositioned before diving
• Never force components during assembly or removal

If any component appears damaged, improperly seated, or abnormal, discontinue installation until the regulator can be properly inspected.

3. Perform a complete pre-dive check before every dive
Before entering the water:

• Verify that the regulator breathes normally
• Confirm there are no abnormal leaks or vibrations
• Ensure the Husher is securely mounted
• Check that exhaust flow exits correctly during exhalation
• Verify that the regulator purge functions normally
• Never dive with the Husher if you feel a risk of vomiting during the dive (if it happens switch to the octopus !)

The regulator must continue to operate normally at all times.
If any abnormal breathing sensation, resistance, instability, or unusual behavior is detected, discontinue use immediately.

4. First use should be performed in controlled conditions
For first-time use, begin in shallow and controlled recreational diving conditions before progressing to more demanding environments.
Avoid first-time testing during:

• deep dives,
• technical dives,
• cave or wreck penetration,
• strong current conditions,
• overhead environments,
• or high-stress diving situations.

This allows the diver to become familiar with the modified exhaust behavior and acoustic characteristics of the system.

5. The Husher system does not replace regulator maintenance
The Husher system is an external acoustic flow-management accessory and does not replace standard regulator servicing or inspection procedures recommended by the regulator manufacturer.
Always maintain and service your regulator according to OEM guidelines and manufacturer recommendations.

6. Compatibility notice
The Husher system is designed only for explicitly listed compatible regulator models.
Do not attempt installation on:

• unsupported regulators,
• modified regulators,
• damaged equipment,
• or regulators outside the listed compatibility range.

7. User responsibility
Scuba diving inherently involves risk.
Users remain responsible for:

• verifying correct installation,
• ensuring compatibility,
• inspecting equipment condition,
• and confirming proper regulator operation before each dive.
